Our Story
Refurbit began as a council-owned department, managing electronic recycling for schools and public services in Hull and Yorkshire. Today, as a registered charity operating from a 6,000 sq ft warehouse, we are more committed than ever to reducing e-waste and supporting our community.
Through our ISO-certified processes, we protect the environment, provide affordable IT solutions, and empower individuals and organizations with sustainable technology. Our journey reflects resilience, determination, and a passion for making a meaningful impact.
Our Mission
At Refurbit, we’re dedicated to promoting sustainability, protecting data security, and supporting those in financial need. Our services include free IT collections, secure data destruction, and WEEE recycling for businesses, schools, and individuals nationwide.
As a charity, we aim to relieve financial hardship by providing refurbished technology and grants to disadvantaged communities. Together, we’re creating a future where technology and sustainability go hand in hand.
